HHS Families & Herrin Community,
Over spring break, one of our students was the victim of an act of cowardice. Their vehicle was vandalized and declared irreparable while parked in the family's driveway. The administration, faculty, and staff of Herrin High School do not tolerate discrimination against any of their students. We stand united with our students and against any who would purposely target others based upon perceived differences.
The Herrin Police Department is investigating the incident and will pursue any and all leads. Your continued support of our school and students is essential as we combat hate and promote acceptance. Please keep our student and their family in your thoughts and prayers as we provide our love and support through this incident.
