Notice is Hereby Given that the President of the Board of Education of Herrin Community Unit School District No. 4, Williamson, Franklin, and Jackson Counties, Illinois, has called a Public Hearing on Monday, February 26, 2024, at 5:30 p.m., in the Unit Office Conference Room, 500 North Tenth Street, Herrin, Illinois.

 

The purpose of the Public Hearing will be to consider submitting a Renewal of Previously Approved Waiver/Modification application for Waiver or Modification of State Board Rules and/or School Code Mandates as listed below:

 

Seek a modification of 105 ILCS 5/10-19.05(d) which would allow the School Improvement Day to be used to analyze state and local test data and help plan the School Improvement Goals for the academic year.
