Teachers, due to the excessive heat warning and the HVAC in the gym, we will have indoor recess in a couple of classrooms today. Please let your students know. I will bring schedules around.

The air conditioner in the gym is not working right now. Due to the humidity the floor in the gym is wet. Zack it running the zamboni in the gym right now. Kids will be in in the hallways next to the rooms this morning.

Welcome Back to the 2023-2024 School Year. August 8th will be an Open House at NSPC 4:00-5:30 You can bring your child to NSPC, see their classroom and meet their teacher. August 9th is the first day and it is an early dismissal. K-11:10, 1-11:20.

Registration today and Thursday. When you come to the high school use the North Door, entrance off of Herrin Road. You will be entering the gym.

Registration is this week. All registrations will be at HHS on July 25th and July 27th. July 25- 10:00-6:00 July 27- 7:00-3:00 All new and returning students, visit www. herrinschools.org to register students using the Powershool online registration link.

One last reminder about tonight's Spring Sing. The event will be held at Herrin Elementary School. Show times are 6 and 7 o'clock. Please be there 15 minutes before show time so your child can walk down the hall with their teachers. Please come through the front doors of the Elementary School. I will be at the front door to direct you and your child where to go.
