NOW is the time to order a 2023-2024 yearbook. This year, yearbooks will be a softcover and will be $16. Go to "jostensyearbooks.com" and place your order in only a few steps. All orders for Northside, HES, and HJHS were previously placed under HJHS but now orders should be able to be placed under your child's school. We will not have a lot of extras to purchase at the end of the year like last year, so be sure to order yours before the March 1st deadline. Regular attendance is often linked to academic success. Students who attend classes regularly are more likely to grasp and retain course material. Attendance is essential for participating in class discussions, group activities, and other collaborative learning experiences. Doctor's notes play a vital role in excused absences so if you go to the doctor or dentist, please provide the note to the school the following day.

Picture Day is November 29th. This will be for all picture retakes as well as for any new students!!

Staff participated in a Turkey game today. Congrats to Mrs.Via, Mrs. Fortner, Mr. Millikin, and Mr. Emling for ending with the turkey coins! 🦃 HES hopes all of our families have a great Thanksgiving break!

HES staff participated in their Turkey Feather Hunt. Team Stuffing was the winner with 128 feathers found in the school. Shoutout to Mr.McManaway for hiding all the feathers each morning before school. 🦃#hesisthebest🧡🖤

Last day of American Education Week was Taylor vs.Travis with a popDIVA bar in the lounge. We had lots of fun celebrating with Taylor Swift today too! Thank you PTO for all your assistance to make this week great for our staff! #hesisthebest🧡🖤

We are so proud of the 5th grade Brain Games team placing 4th and qualifying for regionals at Rend Lake College in March!! CONGRATULATIONS

American Education Week Day 4 was celebrating the 2000s and boy bands! Staff and students had a great Thanksgiving meal from the kitchen staff today too.
