📢 Early Dismissal Announcement 📢
Herrin Elementary School will have a 2:00 PM dismissal on Monday, April 27th.
Please plan accordingly for student pick-up and transportation needs. Be sure to contact your child’s daycare as well as the school office if there are any transportation changes.

That means we are going to RIDE out the week with Chance Karnes “CK” Day! 🤠
Students and staff are encouraged to wear their CK apparel or their best cowboy/cowgirl attire for a $1 donation.

On Earth Day, we are reminded to take care of our planet. Students can help by picking up trash, recycling, turning off lights when leaving a room, and taking care of our school and community.
We also want to give a big THANK YOU to our amazing school secretaries who keep our school running smoothly every single day. From answering phones and helping students to supporting staff and families, they do so much behind the scenes, and we are very grateful for all they do for HES!

Our community came together for an evening filled with laughter, friendly competition, and - most importantly - meaningful connection. The Alternative Learning Opportunities Program (ALOP) is built on the foundation of supporting our students and their families, and events like these remind us why that partnership is so vital.
