🎩 Reminder Tigers! 🎩 Tomorrow, Friday, September 5th, is "HAT DAY" and students can wear their favorite hat to school for just $1! 🧡🖤 All proceeds go to support Herrin Tiger Football Alumni for scholarships. Don’t forget your dollar and your hat!

Dental Safari will be at Herrin Elementary School on October 7-8, 2025.

5th grader Abram Jolliff ran his first XC race today in Anna.  Abram finished 1st overall for the JV boys with a time of 9:08 for the 1.26 mile race.  Great job Abram!

Shaelyn Schlappi ran her first ever XC race today.  She finished in 1st place for the JV race with a time of 9:47!  Great job Shae!! 🧡🖤🤍🐅

They greeted students in the drop-off line and throughout the school, bringing lots of smiles to start the day. We’re all looking forward to Meet the Tigers tonight at the Tiger Football Complex!

REMINDER: Attendance Policy Notice

Once a student has used five (5) excused absences, any additional absences must be verified with proper documentation (such as a Dr. note).

If a student is already in the truancy process, documentation is required for every absence, regardless of the total number of absences.

Be sure to provide documentation within 5 days for every appointment attended during school hours, even if the absence is partial.

Failure to provide proper documentation will result in continued advancement through the truancy process.
