The Herrin CUSD #4 calendar has been amended to include a number of early dismissal dates throughout the upcoming school year. These times will be used for school improvement and professional development of instructional staff.

EARLY DISMISSAL: Friday, September 30, 2022, Herrin CUSD #4 will be dismissed from school early for the Homecoming Parade.

Crochet club ‘s first meeting of the year will be Monday (9/26) from 3:00-4:00 in Mrs. Montgomery’s room.

Picture retake order forms are going home with the students today. This is how you order student pictures. Everything is done online and will be mailed to your home. Contact Mrs. Mayer if you have any questions.
HJHS will have parent-teacher conferences on Thursday, Sept. 15th from 4:00pm - 7:00pm. If you have not been contacted by teachers to set up a conference and would like one, please call the school @ 942-5603

HJHS will dismiss at 11:30 on Friday, Sept. 16th for a half-day teacher inservice.

The 1st quarter midterm grading period ends on Friday, September 9th. Grades are due from teachers by 3:30 p.m. on Monday, September 12th. Midterm grade cards will be sent home on Wednesday, September 14th during Tiger Time. Parents should keep one copy and return the other signed copy with their student to their Tiger Time teacher by Wednesday, September 21st.
