A little before 10:00 this morning, we were notified that a Herrin High School student had tested positive for COVID-19. We took immediate action and quarantined all students who were in close contact with the infected student. The parents were called and the students were released. If you have not been contacted, your son/daughter was not in close contact with the positive individual. Please remember to keep your son or daughter at home if they have any symptoms of COVID-19 or if you are awaiting test results.
Devices will be handed out early next week. Remote learning will not be mandated until devices have been received. Please visit your school's website next week for up to date information.
When coming to registration, you need to use the north parking lot and enter the north doors.
If you have not been sent a Snap Code for registration purposes via email, please contact your child's school. They can help you obtain one.
Registration is taking place at Herrin High School for all students August 3rd-5th. You must sign up for a time slot. Visit our website at www.herrinschools.org and click on explore and then the registration tab to get started.
First day of student attendance is August 11th.
