The school office is the nerve center of a district, and the professionals within determine its pulse. To many parents, students, and community members, the Administrative Professional often IS the school. Their voice on the telephone is the first point of contact; their manner in the front office sets the tone for the day; their ability to handle complex problems with efficiency. As we honor the leaders who shaped our nation, Herrin Schools will be closed on Monday, February 16, for Presidents’ Day. The extended weekend begins with a half-day dismissal on Friday, February 13.
