🎉✨ Prom Day at Herrin Elementary CONTINUED! ✨🎉 Today was a truly special day in our Strive/Structure classrooms as we held a Prom-style celebration for our amazing students! 💃🕺 Thanks to the generous donations from families, friends, and the incredible Helen Honeys, each student had the chance to dress in their finest formal wear—whether donated or brought from home. 👗👔 A huge shoutout to the wonderful teachers who went above and beyond, helping with hair and make-up to make sure everyone felt their absolute best! 💄💇‍♀️ Our students were shining bright and looking sharp as they danced the morning away with smiles, laughter, and so much joy. 💖 It was a magical day filled with confidence, fun, and unforgettable memories. 🥰 #HerrinElementary #PromDay2025 #StriveStructureShine #TigerPride #MakingMemories

📢 REMINDER: May 9th is CK Day! 🎗️🧡 Join us in honoring the life and legacy of Chance Karnes, a proud Herrin High School Class of 2022 graduate, beloved son of former HHS Football Coach Jason Karnes and Herrin Elementary School Teacher Brandi Karnes. Chance's life was tragically cut short in an accident caused by another driver failing to stop at a stop sign. CK Day is our way of keeping Chance’s memory alive while giving back to future graduates.
