To the Students, Faculty, Staff, and Families of Herrin Unit #4,
It is with sincere sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Herrin High School student, Wyatt Reed. After a courageous battle with cancer, Wyatt's journey has come to an end; however, the impact he made on our students, teachers, and staff will undoubtedly endure for decades to come.
Wyatt’s love for school was evident every single day. His bright smile, genuine spirit, and kind heart touched the lives of everyone he encountered. Whether in the classroom, hallways, or at school events, Wyatt brought warmth and joy wherever he went. His presence made all of Herrin CUSD #4 a better place.
Wyatt's legacy of kindness, courage, and compassion will always be a part of Herrin Schools. He loved this school deeply, and we will forever hold a special place in our hearts for him.
In the coming days, additional counselors will be available to support any student who may need someone to talk to during this difficult time. We encourage anyone who is struggling to reach out.

Good Morning HHS Families. Wednesday, 2.19.25, has been declared an e-Learning day. The first thing students need to do is email their advisory teacher to check in before 11 a.m. Students are expected to complete work for each of their classes. Teachers have put assignments in Google Classroom or Rooms. All instruction will be asynchronous (students and teachers will not meet together live in Google Meet or Zoom). If there are any questions, please have your student email their teacher(s) or high school administration. Teachers will be available from 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Stay warm and safe!

Attention Seniors! The Class of 2025 Order Deadline has been extended to Sunday, January 19th. After this time, there will be a Late Fee on Caps & Gowns and some items will no longer be available for ordering. If you have not yet ordered, please see below.

All instruction will be asynchronous (students and teachers will not meet together live in Google Meet or Zoom). If there are any questions, please have your student email their teacher(s). Teachers will be available from 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. If students don’t know their class schedule, they can log into PowerSchool by using the following instructions:

2. Sign-in using your username and password.
