HHS Families, tragedy affected our school yesterday afternoon. Chance Karnes, Mr. Karnes’ son and an HHS alum, passed away in an automobile accident. We knew him as our student; he was a friend, a teammate, a cowboy, and an adventurer. We grieve for the young man and his family. Mrs. Cornelius, Mrs. Shelton, and Mr. Tate will be available throughout the coming days to assist students. If you or your child have any questions or need a shoulder; reach out. We need one another, and, especially, Mr. and Mrs. Karnes, Presli, and their family need our love.
Attention HHS Athletes & Families! HHS along with SIH Sports Rehabilitation will be conducting sports physicals on Friday, May 20 9am-1pm. Kids will be in school on this date. We will be calling kids out of class who plan on participating in a sport(s) next school year. Every athlete must have an up to date physical on file to participate next year. We are asking for a $10 donation per physical but we will not turn anyone away. Starting next week, the office will distribute physical forms to be filled out prior to Friday. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the athletic office.
