Dear HHS Parents/Guardians. Walgreens Pharmacy is working with HHS to give the seasonal influenza vaccine to students at school. HHS will hold a flu vaccination clinic on October, 5 2022. Walgreens will need insurance information but there will be no cost to you. Attached are the forms that must be filled out prior to the clinic if you want your child to receive the flu vaccine. There are forms in the office for students to pick up as well. Feel free to contact the office with any questions.
The Herrin CUSD #4 calendar has been amended to include a number of early dismissal dates throughout the upcoming school year. These times will be used for school improvement and professional development of instructional staff.

Good Evening HHS Faculty, Staff, Students, & Families. Yesterday afternoon HHS Administration was made aware of a possible threat to school safety. Upon receiving the information, the Herrin Police Department was notified of the situation and they are actively investigating the matter. The Herrin PD will have police officers present tomorrow during the school day. School will be open as scheduled. If you have any questions, please contact the office tomorrow morning.
September is National Preparedness Month! A free Disaster and Safety Preparedness Event will be held on Saturday, September 10th, from 11AM - 2PM at Cornerstone Church in Marion, IL.
